The staff was helpful and we will be returning here soon. The hotel had a central position close enough to a filthy back alley surrounded by bins fag ends and extraction vent pipes, good restaurants, and the pub.

No hot water, what a bummer!
We planned to chill for 3 nights, but got a call from Holly saying the boiler was down. Only had a fan heater in the room. We felt bad but couldn't stay without hot water. The bar area looked nice though, wish we could've enjoyed it!

Couples looking for a cozy spot
The atmosphere in the bar was just perfect, entertainment killed it, and those views of the harbor, lovely.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know what? Worth every penny.

A Glorious Sea View Escape
What an amazing experience! Our double room with a sea view was amazing. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying coffee overlooking the ocean was magical. A minor request for more milk was promptly addressed. Don't miss the on-site restaurant. The seafood is amazing!

The room was clean, but the noise from the bar was unbearable at night.

Staying here for a weekend getaway was quite the experience. While the location over the harbour was fantastic, our double room unfortunately didn't quite match expectations. We faced a very uncomfortable bed, a freezing room, and noise from the pub below made it quite hard to rest. the lovely view and the central location made it easy to explore nearby attractions like the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and the bustling Whitby Harbour.

Charming spot with comfy vibes
Just spent 2 nights in a cozy little room. The building's got great character, and the location is perfect for exploring. Loved that the kettle was there for brews, and the bed was super comfy! Small bathroom was tight, though. The bar area was nice for evening drinks too.

Had an unexpected and enjoyable stay with tasty local beers and good live music on the weekends. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and I loved the convenience of the parking, right at the back without the extra fee. Just wish the keys weren't old-fashioned, as they made access a bit clunky. 😊

perfect base for wandering the charming streets of whitby
The room had a fantastic view across the harbor, and I loved how easily I could stroll to the swing bridge and dracula experience just around the corner as a single traveler. But the entrance to the car park could be easier to navigate as it's quite tricky.

The staff were excellent, showing really good hospitality and accommodating requests flawlessly. The double room wasvery comfy and tidy, providing all the necessary amenities like tea and coffee. Access to the rear car park was quite challenging for anyone with mobility issues due to unstable concrete steps. While the room was easy to reach, the difficulties outside were notably concerning.
